In April 2007 the European Commission launched negotiations with India for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). In order to assess the economic, social and environmental impacts of such an agreement, ECORYS Nederland BV was asked to carry out a Trade Sustainability Impact Assessment. This study will be implemented over the course of 2008 and completed at the latest by April 2009. All important information concerning the project can be found on this website.
